For what it's worth, the weather in St. Louis SUCKED today. So, be triply glad Emma didn't come, as it involved pouring rain and wind that was blowing so hard that sober people were having trouble keeping their cars on the road.
Hey, David's comment is not true at all--you can ask Steve! Does Karen realize that you have hardly ever had a babysitter for Emma? Maybe she thinks you go out all the time and ask other people to babysit.

yikes!!! hopefully she planned to give emma the vodka so she wouldn't be traumatized by the whole experience.
