My sweet friend Catherine offered to take Emma along today on a fun field trip - a train ride and lunch out. Emma gets really excited about trains and often talks about the one she remembers from the zoo, so I knew she'd love to go. They just left, and will be gone for probably five hours. I was worried that she'd get scared at the last minute about going without me, but she was such a big brave girl. I think it's ME who is more worried about how I will do without HER! The house seems so empty right now and I already miss her like crazy. Waaahhhhhhh!

We had more fun than a car full of girls!!! oh, wait, we were a car full of girls!! ok, so we had THAT MUCH fun!
here's the funniest part: (oh, i hope it's ok to say this!) so, we're on the train. we're half way through and this couple is next to us that CANNOT believe i have three under four. they are delighted to watch the girls squeal and giggle. So, then audrey says she has bite on her arm that itches. emma's eyes bug out and she grins from ear to ear and frantically pulls up her dress to point to her diaper and in THE LOUDEST VOICE EVER says "I have a bite on my BA-GIIIIIIIINA!!!!" and laughs her head off! I fell outta my chair watching this sweet little couple try not to cry from laughing!
I guess this means that Emma isn't coming up to Kirksville for the weekend.
