My pet peeve for the day: Why on earth do prenatal vitamins have to be so ridiculously gigantic? When I first found out I was pregnant, I researched prenatals and chose to buy a really good food-based one. I only took them for about a week before I started getting sick, and there was no way I could get them down. I still can't. I tried again this morning, and although I haven't puked in two days, it was so big and terrible tasting that my breakfast (and the pill) came right up. Ugh. Why doesn't someone get a clue and make those things a little smaller?

I got an iPod this weekend! I am so excited! Emma is very excited about the "ipond" too, and keeps asking to listen to it. It was supposed to be my Christmas present, but I was too excited and impatient to wait until then. However, the process of going through my 2500+ songs and tagging them all was beyond tedious. I am glad to have that part out of the way, and am looking forward to not having to mess with making new CDs for the car ride every time we make a trip to my mom's house.

Here are some pictures from the weekend, and one from today of Emma with her favorite toy lately, that little Halloween ghost.

Maybe you should add the vitamins to your root beer floats. Then, you probably wouldn't even notice it.

The iron in prenatal vitamins made me really sick while pregnant. So, I took double the dose of Flintstones vitamins! My midwife said it was fine, and I felt much better after that.

Have you tried taking them before bed? That helped me in the first few months. I also switched to one without the iron ( my doctor prescribed it) and that helped even more.

Are you talking about the Rainbow Light's?? I bought some of those, paid an arm and a leg, and then could barely choke them down. It was a serious production. Then, they made me SO bloated I thought I was going to explode!! So now I'm back to taking the cheapy Target-brand vitamins. Much smaller.

Good luck.

They are Rainbow Light! I may just give up too and get some Target ones, which are what I took last time.

I just had to comment back to say that I've been taking the Target vitamins for a while now and not problems! Yay!
