Exciting news! I think after staying alone with my mom twice in the last week, Emma is getting a little more independent of me! Usually when Steve is home and I'm going somewhere (the store, the post office, etc.- any place that would be easier without a toddler along), Emma clings to me and Steve says, "Well, I guess she just wants to go with you." And, surprise, I always end up bringing her along while Steve sits on the couch and reads a book or something. Well today I had to run to Goodwill to drop off some stuff and secretly look for sweaters to unravel for yarn. Emma ran away from me when I tried to put on her coat. I asked her if she wanted to stay home with papa, and she gleefully called out, "BYE!" while waving to me! Woo-hoo! I got to go to Goodwill all by myself! I don't think Steve is nearly as excited about this development as me! Bwahahaha!!!
