Why is it so hard to find a good pair of jeans? I used to love Abercrombie jeans, but they have since changed their style, plus they always wear out in one season now. (Also, while I used to not think twice about spending $70 on a pair of jeans, I refuse to do so now.) My old favorite jeans from there all have holes in the knees. I bought a couple pairs from the Gap a few months ago that I thought were okay, but they have somehow morphed into "mom jeans". I don't have a single pair of decent jeans...argh! I need something that is somewhere in between the mom jeans and the ultra-low-rise, butt-crack-hanging-out, teeny-bopper jeans. Does such a thing exist?

I know exactly what you mean. I hate buying jeans. My most recent pair came from Gap but are way too big. Buying jeans is my least favorite shopping experience, besides buying a swimsuit.

I have a pair of jeans that fits into that category. I don't suppose you would want them though.

Also, it seems to me that you actually ARE a mom lately. Shouldn't you therefore be contented with "mom jeans?" I don't know if that question mark really goes there.

But buying shoes is even worse--I am under stress having to look cute and festive for the St. T. New Year's Eve dance tomorrow night. I devoted a lot of time into looking for attractive shoes which I consider comfortable, and even though I purchased three pairs of black shoes yesterday the only pair with which I am pleased your dad is making me return until I am ready to shuffle around in the nursing home!
PS Wal Mart has nice jeans, reasonably priced. I have been wearing them for years.

David, the question mark goes after the quote mark. That is disgraceful behavior for a grammar god.

Uh oh! Grammer God!? Don't read my blog! ((bag on head))

I have the SAME problem with jeans! I got a pair of "lucky" jeans I really like. They are worth the money.

At least I recognized that it was probably erroneous punctuation. That should count for something.

I know just what you mean! I have started buying my jeans at american eagle...they're like $50, but well worth the money b/c they're so soft & seem to be holding up well. we should go shopping one day & find you a good pair! :)
