Yesterday was a bad, bad day for my tomato seedlings. They were thriving until then, but now they are completely dead. Every last one. I swear I read somewhere that you can put seedlings in your back car window to get them plenty of heat and light. Maybe I dreamt it, because now I can't find it anywhere. So yesterday morning I went and stuck mine in my car. That afternoon, we were walking up to the neighborhood school to vote, and I glanced in at them on the way. They were not just dead, but so shriveled that they had almost completely disappeared into the dirt. Darn. Darn, darn, darn! I am SO bummed. On a better note, we planted Emama's seedlings outside last week and they seem to be doing great!

We are still undecided about the CSA. I talked to one of the farmers on the phone last night for almost 45 minutes. He was super nice and helpful. He said he would call some of his other customers and have them call me so I can talk to them about it as well.

Today Emma was playing with some little toy animals in the office. She ran into the bedroom to get me and pull me excitedly back into the office. She proudly pointed at her little set-up and said, "Cows nursing!" She wanted me to take a "pickez", which most of us know as picture, so here it is.

The cows nursing is the most precious thing ever! I can't wait until my 15 month old is big enough to give me messages like that. Emma is adorable!

That is so cute of Emma. She is so smart! Luckily she is not taking after her Uncle David.

Whoa whoa whoa! Let's try to keep these boards civil, loser.

Did you throw out the seedlings already? Maybe they just need water!
