I've been working on knitting this sweater, and I almost had the back piece finished. It was annoying me, because I didn't really like the way the yarn was knitting up, and I was getting tired of working on it. Two days ago I decided to rip it out and knit something else. The something else turned out to be this itty bitty soaker. Newborn soakers are super fast to knit! The colorway is a little girly, but if we have a boy, I'm sure he won't mind. Since most of my yarn stash consists of girly stuff, the poor guy will probably be wearing plenty of not-so-manly knitted items. What I really need to be working on is Christmas knitting, but I'm still waiting on the needles for that stuff. I ordered them over a week ago and they are still not here. I've been seriously stalking my mail carrier to no avail.

In case anyone cares, Emma did not use her potty today. What is up with that kid?

I think Emma is saving using the potty for when she wants to get her way. Hahaha! She is so funny.

Maybe you should practice knitting blankets for brothers while you're waiting...
Did you change your template, or is the computer I'm using just screwy?

I just love the saying, "the poor guy will be wearing plenty of not-so-manly knitted items"!
What a shame you wasted the money on grooming and didn't get enough free dog-boarding thrown in to save the parents as teachers lady from your dogs. I hope it went ok.

It's a Little Turtle Knits pattern. I knitted the same one for Emma right after I learned how to knit, and it was terrible!

Cute, cute, cute!!

I've done a few of the warm-hearted woolies soakers from their free patter. Those have turned out well, I think, and hey, they are FREE!!
