This morning after Emma and I woke up, but were still cuddling in bed, she put her hand on my cheek and said, "I wove you, Mommy. You're my best girl." How can I not have a great day when it starts like that?
This cold weather is making me hungry for soup. Right now I have two big pots of it cooking on the stove - Ham & Bean and Ham & Potato. Yum!
I suddenly have the urge to catch up on my scrapbooking. I'm going to try to get all my albums current before the baby comes. That and the Christmas knitting are my main projects these days. I will have Christmas knitting pictures soon!

I have been trying so hard to catch up but Bethany likes to help :) so I have a few pages with her artistic touches on them.
I am excited about scrapbooking years of family pictures soon after I quit my job. I hope both of us and Shawn are really able to do this--you and Shawn are luckier because you can't be as many years behind as I am!
I bet Emma was just trying to butter you up before asking for some extravagant gift. She's a manipulator.
I need to do some scrapbooking. Maybe you could come to one of my sister's scrapbook nights at her house... its $5 and she lives here in Raintree.
