I have been crazy busy lately. Or at least I feel like I am/should be, but am not accomplishing much. There is hope, because my parents are visiting this weekend and my mom is staying until Wednesday! I am so excited. She will be able to keep Emma busy while I clean, organize, sew, scrapbook, and all the other things I want to do before the baby comes.

More good news...a mom in my AP group said she had some newborn and small diaper covers to give away. I went to get them and check this out!

She gave me 37 - yes, that's right, THIRTY-SEVEN - covers that are all in great condition! I am SO stoked about this!

Instead of complaining about the little girl who always tells me before she pees or poops but refuses to sit on the potty to do so, I will just post a cute picture of her. She got a giftcard to Build-A-Bear for Christmas, and last weekend we went and let her pick out a bear and an outfit and some shoes for it. Steve and I decided the place was a huge scam designed to get people to pay $40+ for a stuffed animal, but she really loves her bear. She named her Charlotte and has been taking her everywhere we go.

Amelia takes her build a bear with her everywhere as well. Her's doesn't have any clothes yet though. LOL

I hope you have a rockin' time with the relatives. Emma looks like a dangerous nutcase in that pic.

Haha...I just realized that I was still an entire year older than Emma before I was potty trained (I wasn't until I was almost 4)!!

Wow you wont need to buy any more diaper covers. I took my daughter to one of those places, and $40 later she has a cat in a ballerina dress. She played with it for about a week, and now it sits there gathering dust. I am sure your daughter will go to the potty when she wants to, I used to let my kids read a book on the potty, or we had a star chart where we put special stickers on a chart when they did something.

I'm glad you wrote again. I hope your plan of accomplishment comes true! It is very heartening to hear that it took so long for Abbie to "get on the potty train", and look how outstanding she is now! See you soon!

Will didn't potty train until 40 months and then it was just immedate (although there was a long time of that back and forth stuff)... it will be here before you know and then you will forget everything about this maddening interim period! : )

Oh, and Jack has absolutely no interest in peeing anywhere except for his diaper or the floor. : ) That goes for pooping too.
