Isn't it such an amazing miracle that what looks like thisone day, can become thisthe very next day?!

Alexandra Jane was born at home at 10:07 p.m. on August 14th after four hours of labor. She is a perfect angel and we are all (except maybe Noah a little bit) enjoying having a newborn around again.

Congratulations! I thought the exact same thing after each of my children were born. I would sit with them on my lap and wonder how they ever fit inside. Then watching them grow to where they wouldn't fit on my lap anymore was amazing too. Enjoy this precious time together.

She is beautiful. I remember that feeling, too. Even though you know they were there all the time inside it's unbelievable that you somehow actually made a new person and that they will now be a part of the action--and your family's history--forever.

I also had two babies at home. I hope you'll post your birth story some time.

Best to you all.
