Last year I managed to get an adorable picture of Emma to send out with our Christmas cards. This year I wanted to do the same thing so I turned the kitchen into a studio and proceeded to take about five hundred pictures of Emma. What I thought was a good idea turned out to be a disaster. Out of all the pictures I took, not a single one is Christmas card-worthy. If there was a previous record for begging "Can you please please please just sit still here for one more minute?" a certain number of times in one hour, I surely broke it today. By the end she was crying and I was on the verge of it. Taking good, posed pictures of a toddler requires much more patience, talent, and sanity than I have available.

I like the one on the right.
I don't think it gets easier as the kids get older. My family just had Christmas pictures taken and the ones with just my brother and I were so funny. The lady kept trying to make us look like models, but we just looked goofy.
If I had been there, Emma would have been giggling non-stop in delight. Abbie is correct. The one on the right is not bad.
I love the picture on the right! So adorable - it shows more personality than if she were sitting still and smiling vacantly like most kids in Christmas portraits!
Aww! She is soo cute!! I hear you on the picture thing! LOL
Another vote for the picture on the right! I like her smile in that one and how she's holding her hand above her head with the ornament :) Cute!
I had fun trying to get Amelia to hold still for our christmas picture as well! The picture on the right is really cute though, I vote for that one! :-)
